The CalWest Educators Lee Miller Scholarship
The CalWest Educators Lee Miller Scholarship is an annual award presented to two members of the NCGS community in memory and honor of CalWest Founder Lee Miller, established by her family and friends at CalWest Educators Placement.
Lee was a tireless advocate for independent school teaching candidates. She made it a point to see the potential in people and was committed to schools that sought to be inclusive and welcoming. Lee was passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and supporting teachers. She was especially interested in expanding professional development experiences for teachers and in exploring opportunities for school leaders – from entry level through senior leadership positions. The CalWest Educators Lee Miller Scholarship will be awarded annually to educators in NCGS member schools in the form of a scholarship grant to attend the annual NCGS conference.
