Have you ever read a book and wanted to ask the author for further insight? Wished you had the opportunity to ask questions or challenge premises? Or better understand the research or examples cited in the book—from the writer herself?
NCGS is thrilled to partner with New York Times bestselling author and educator Rachel Simmons to offer an online discussion series for you to dive deeply into her new book, Enough As She Is: How to Help Girls Move Beyond Impossible Standards of Success to Live Happy, Healthy, and Fulfilling Lives. During this live experience, educators and administrators will engage in dialogue with Rachel and each other using a videoconferencing platform.
Participants will also have access to a dedicated site where they can enjoy additional resources recommended by Rachel, share thoughts on the issues addressed in the book, and pose questions. The Conversations with Rachel series is available exclusively to NCGS member schools.
“My colleague and I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I’d go so far as to say it was really perspective (dare I say life?)-changing.”
– Administrator, Westover School
Conversations with Rachel is comprised of four sessions taking place every Tuesday in October from 4:00 to 5:15 PM ET:
