This year’s NCGS annual conference was the Global Forum on Girls’ Education® II, bringing together girls’ education advocates from across the globe to exchange best practices and innovative approaches for academic excellence and the healthy development of girls.
Educators, researchers, advocates, and authors engaged in a global conversation about girls’ education:
- Hearing from trailblazing changemakers like Billie Jean King, Halla Tómasdóttir, and Sylvia Acevedo.
- Engaging in sessions addressing universal themes in girls’ education: Leadership, Innovation, STEAM, Global Citizenship, Health & Wellness, and Equity & Inclusion.
- Learning first-hand from several researchers overseeing current studies. Preliminary findings from three new research studies were released for the first time at the Global Forum II!
NCGS and its strategic partners from across the globe were eager to take make our voices heard and for educators at girls’ schools to lead this conversation. #StandUpSpeakUp to help create a world of possibilities by signing the Pledge today to show your support for girls’ education around the word.
