The Harpeth Hall School seeks a dynamic, creative teacher to join a highly collaborative upper school English department. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm for working with high school students in an all-girls environment, a commitment to innovative pedagogy, and excellent writing and communication skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be an experienced English teacher who is caring, passionate, and capable of teaching a wide range of literature courses, including Advance Placement. Other important qualifications include an interest in developing interdisciplinary curriculum and a comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance pedagogy. A bachelor’s degree is required. Three or more years of full-time teaching experience and an advanced degree are preferred.
This position is for the 2020-2021 academic year, and may include being an advisor and sponsor of assigned co-curricular activities in the Upper School.
