Title: Director of Development

Report: Head of School

Oldfields School, an all-girls international boarding and day school, grades 8-12 in northern Baltimore County, is looking for an experienced Director of Development. This is an outstanding opportunity for a person with a high degree of integrity and a keen interest and deep commitment to the value of a single-sex independent school education.

The Director of Development supervises a staff of three (3) and serves as a liaison to the Development and Alumnae Committee and Governance Committee. The Director will create and oversee important aspects of the School’s strategic alumnae and development plan such as the Capital Campaign (major and planned giving), the Oldfields Fund, parent and alumnae relations, prospect/donor management, events, advancement-related communications and budget oversight. This position reports to the Head of School and serves on the School’s Leadership Team. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring frequent travel and work outside of normal business hours, including some weekends. Occasional remote work may be permitted at the discretion of the Head of School.
