SEPIDEH: Reaching for the Stars is the story of Sepideh, a young Iranian woman who is obsessed with astronomy and wants to become an astronaut, against all imaginable odds. She is determined to follow her dream, and over a period of three years Danish director Berit Madesn follows Sepideh’s brave and yet tremendously hard struggle in forging her own path. She spends her nights exploring the secrets of the universe – while her family will do anything to keep her on the ground.
