The National Coalition of Girls' Schools

2008 Annual Conference a Big Success

Conference

Hosted by Hathaway Brown School and supported by the Laurel School, the 2008 NCGS Annual Conference was our biggest ever.  We had a record 230 in attendance representing 62 different schools (34 of whom sent teams).   Our 20 international colleagues came from affiliate schools in Australia, Canada, South Africa and the United Kingdom.  Our 6th annual International Girls' Forum was well represented by a team of 12 students from member schools in this country and abroad.  Over 70 attended our professional development seminar on articulating the value of girls' schools followed by two days of presentations and best practices session.  In addition, we celebrated Whitty's years with NCGS and cheered Meg as NCGS' sole Executive Director.
