NCGS Heads of School, join your colleagues for a day of engaging and challenging discussions led by three nationally recognized experts in the fields of strategic thinking, educational programs, research, educational programming, market positioning, and demographic analysis. There will be time for participants to share issues of common interest in small group discussions.

Dr. Pearl Rock Kane, an Associate Professor of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, holds the Klingenstein Family Chair for the Advancement of Independent School Education. Professor Kane serves as the director of the Klingenstein Center and will lead off the day talking about educational leadership in the 21st century.

Professor Linda J. Sax, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Graduate School of Education & Information Studies, UCLA, will be presenting ground-breaking NCGS-funded research (based on CIRP data) that examines how 2005 NCGS graduates, at the start of their college careers, compare on a number of indices with their female cohorts in coed independent, public, and Catholic schools.

Patti Crane, Founder and President, Crane MetaMarketing, Ltd., will share research-based insights that help girls' schools adapt to the changing demographic landscape, connect with a new generation of involved parents, and understand the importance of claiming an authentic market position. Patti has served as a marketing consultant to more than 150 colleges, universities, and independent schools.
