PBS Design Squad Competition: Turn Your Trash into Treasure

PBS' Kids.Org is sponsoring a competition.  Recycle, reuse, and re-engineer everyday materials into an out-of-the-box invention.  The invention should move things or people, protect the environment or be used for indoor/outdoor play.  Grand prize: $10,000, a Dell laptop, and a trip to Boston to see your design built.  Four finalists receive laptops.  Deadline August 31.  Go Tech, Go Girls!  For more information visit www.pbskids.org/designsquad.
