Garrison Forest School Named Maryland's First Confucius Classroom Among Independent Schools
OWINGS MILLS, MD (February 11, 2010): Garrison Forest School (GFS) has been named Maryland's first Confucius Classroom among independent schools, one of only a handful of independent school Confucius Classrooms in the country.

Three Hathaway Brown seniors semifinalists in national Intel Science Talent Search

Chatham Hall Receives Largest Gift in History of Girls' Schools
October 14, 2009, Chatham, Virginia: NCGS member Chatham Hall has received a $31 million gift from the estate of alumna Elizabeth Beckwith Nilsen, Class of 1931. This is the largest single gift to any girls' independent school.
