NCGS is thrilled that students from three member schools were selected to be Teen Advisors for Girl Up.
Congratulations to Annie Gersh who attends Marlborough School in Los Angeles, Annie Kiyonaga who attends Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda and Iztel Delgado who attends The Young Women’s Leadership School of East Harlem in New York.
Girl Up is an innovative campaign of the United Nations Foundation. They give American girls the opportunity to become global leaders and channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls. The Teen Advisors help make Girl Up an engaging, effective, and powerful campaign by sharing their ideas and providing feedback on everything Girl Up does.
