Girls, Sports & Wellness

Basketball PlayerParticipation in sports can yield a lifetime of benefits for girls and young women. Skills learned now -- leadership, teamwork, setting goals - will last a lifetime, whether a girl goes on to become a pro athlete, parent, scientist, business executive or community leader. And healthy habits -- physical as well as mental -- learned now will be healthy habits that last.  That's why NCGS and its Member Schools place a premium on sports, fitness and wellness for girls and young woman: it's all an essential part of a top-flight education!
