Resident Faculty members at Emma foster a healthy and inclusive residential environment where each girl feels empowered to live comfortably and grow authentically with space to explore her potential alongside her peers. We are seeking a responsible, caring, energetic, and engaged professional who is interested in helping high school girls make connections, develop relationships, and navigate all aspects of community living. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is preferred) and relevant experience in residential life and/or youth mentoring. This person will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a sense of humor, and a genuine interest in living and working with adolescent girls as they develop their sense of self in an academically rigorous educational living environment. This is a live-in position with a mixture of evening/weekend and daytime responsibilities. This job is performed from the employee’s residence (apartment within the dorm) so candidates must be prepared to share this space as well as the entrance and exit to the apartment/residence hall with the students.
